地域と共に、むらづくりの取り組み
WakkaAgriでは、農業生産に関する実験・研究の成果を広く社会に還元することや、地域の住民やNPO等とともに、地域の課題解決又は地域づくりに継続的に取り組み、地域の活性化及び地域の人材育成に資するような活動との連携・各種取り組みを行っています。
WakkaAgri provides a wide range of services to society through the results of its agricultural production experiments and research, and works continuously with local residents and NPOs to solve local issues and develop the local community. It also collaborates with various activities to contribute to the revitalization of the local community and the development of local human resources.
棚田パートナーシップ協定
2024年には、信州大学農学部と協働して棚田の保全活動を進めるため「棚田パートナーシップ協定」を締結。長野県内では12例目、上伊那地方では3例目。教育機関が関わる協定の締結は初めてだそうです。この協定では、「生きた棚田」をフィールドとした教育・研究に取り組むことや、共同研究の成果を生かした良質な棚田米の生産、日本の原風景を伝える地として後世に残せるよう尽力することなどを盛り込んだことも特徴的です。
In 2024, a "Tanada Partnership Agreement" will be signed with the Faculty of Agriculture at Shinshu University to advance rice terrace conservation activities. This is the 12th such agreement in Nagano Prefecture and the third in the Kamiina region. It is said to be the first agreement to involve an educational institution. This agreement is notable for including the following points: engaging in education and research using "living Tanada" as a field, producing high-quality rice terraces using the results of joint research, and working to preserve the area as a place that conveys Japan's original landscape for future generations.
